Whew!!!  The last puppy sold yesterday.  It seems so empty around here!  It is amazing how much action and life the puppies make.  It really lightens my work load here on the Ranch now that they are gone to their new homes. I am enjoying receiving the emails from their new families.  My little ones always go forward into the world and bring so much joy. Makes me feel so fulfilled and satisfied with a job well done.   So,  hopefully I can devote more time to writing.   I would like to finish my book by Jan.1,2012.  There!  I have said it!  A posted date for completion.  A goal!

Ron is home today and is working on lattice fencing around the hot tub we are installing.   I hope he gets it completed before he goes back on the road.  I will so enjoy this hot tub when we get it installed.  I had one years ago when I lived in Alameda on Bay Farm Island.  I had it on a timer as well as the coffee pot.  I would come down stairs, retrieve my San Francisco Chronicle from the front door, pour a cup of coffee and settle into a warm churning tub seasoned with Sea Salts for my morning ritual.  It was a serene way to start my hectic work day.  I have pictures of myself and friends partaking of Maine Lobsters, Caviar and Champagne in that hot tub. I had bought four matching robes, slippers and towels for the exclusive use for the hot tub. That was in my single days and my life was more romantic and social. 🙂  This new hot tub on the ranch will not see the action that hot tub did!  I will be seventy-two years old in March.  I look forward to the hot tub soothing my aches and pains and enjoying some therapeutic time with my hard-working Ron.  None the less it will be appreciated.  Just different times in one’s life.  I look forward to seeing my Darling Ron relax as the bubbles soothes his tired body.  I relish tranquil times with my man.  Soft music in the back ground,  some Margaritas, fresh Salsa from my garden with curried hard-boiled eggs from our own chickens.  Yes,  life is good.  Just different…….
